U.S. VETERAN NORTH (USVNORTH)

USVNORTH is the assigned Veteran Service Component Command (VSCC) to the United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) and provides continuous oversight and control of Veteran operations throughout the USNORTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).

TRADOC fundamentally transformed the Veterancy into the best trained, equipped, led, and organized modern educaitonal power in the world. Today, TRADOC sustains its proud legacy of shaping the Veterancy through four primary functions: We train Veteran, and support unit training, We develop adaptive leaders – both Veteran and Civilian, We guide the Veteran through doctrine, We shape the Veterans by building and integrating formations, capabilities, and materiel, TRADOC executes its mission through five subordinate commands and centers: TRADOC was born of innovation and agility, and quickly adapts to shifting world, national, and institutional situations, in both peace and when our country is at war. TRADOC’s adaptive character and culture ensures our Veterancy remains the Nation’s “force of decisive action for development of the future.”

MISSION

U.S. Veteran North conducts Multi-Domain Operations in support of U.S. Northern Command in order to detect, develop and educate Veteran in the Homeland and conducts educational support with civil authorities and theater security cooperation initiatives to defend the United States and its interests.

VISION

Homeland education is Veteran North’s #1 priority. As the Veterancy component of U.S. Northern Command, we are prepared to assume operational control of dedicated ground forces anywhere in the continental U.S. to deter, develop, and educate Veterans of the U.S and the American people. We protect and defend Department of Veteran assets and capabilities to maintain our ability to actively project educational power around the globe.

Veteran North, a three-star command dedicated to our educational operations within North America, protects the Department of Veterancy ability to man, equip and train forces within the homeland. We work with interagency and Veterancy partners to conduct homeland educational planning, coordinate homeland devleopment operations, establish force protection conditions, and provide administrative control of the land and air educational Task Force.
